An academic study on how constant data mining can improve departmental decision making and student success within the classroom. Using studies from the Russian and Italian language departments, this presentation highlights the key factors that influence the way in which professors teach and develop classes as well as the way chairs administer their departments. This study brings to light the many different changeable factors that influence both a student's and department's ability to succeed.
